Modular Knitting: Small Pieces, Big Results

Thursday, March 13th - 1pm-4pm

Modular knitting is making individual units and joining them by picking up stitches along one edge of another unit. We will sample several shapes including mitered squares, shells, and an amazing spiral. Patterns for each unit will be provided by instructor as well as resources for you to explore when the festival is just a memory. Adventurous beginners will be prepared for this class.

Materials Required: A yarn you love to work with in 3 or 4 colors and appropriate needles. small scissors, tape measure, and tapestry needles will be helpful appropriate needles. Standard tool kit.
