Beginning Knitting

In this class students will learn the basic stitches of knitting. Cast on, cast off, knit and Purl. If there is time we will learn simple increases and decreases. This class is for those who have never knit or just need a little brush up. These stitches we learn can then be used to build on to create projects of any size. You will receive yarn, needles and hand outs with illustrations on what we are learning. You will also learn to read a written out knitting pattern. Students are asked to bring scissors and an ink pen for note taking.
