Beginning Rigid Heddle

Thursday, March 13th - 1pm-5pm

Come learn the basics on weaving! Learn weaving terms, setting up a RH Loom, direct warping, loading a stick shuttle, basic weave and hem stitch. If you have your own loom, please bring it with an 8 dent heddle (or whatever you have if not) and if you have yarn you would like to use, bring it too. If not, yarn will be provided for practice. You will leave with one, or maybe two, mug rugs and all the skills you need to weave on your own. If you do not have your own RH Loom, there are 4 available for rent for an additional $15 fee. There will also be several small ones (10"-16") available for sale after the class.

Materials Required: If you have your own RH Loom, please bring it. If you have yarn you would like to use, bring it as well. There will be 4 RH Looms available to rent and yarn will be provided.
